JAMESTOWN – Jamestown BPU Water customers at two locations will be without water beginning at 9 a.m. today while water employees install new equipment. Water will be restored as soon as work is completed. In Jamestown, a new water line will be installed on Shaw Avenue between Maple and Oak Streets. In Lakewood, a new water valve will be installed on Summit Avenue between Webster and Loew Streets. Water will not be turned off until 9 a.m., allowing for residents to prepare for work and school prior to that hour.
